Lt Transom Question?
Hey does anyone know the what the differences are between a short transom and tall transom model on the gd lt...jw because i am running a 23lt on 1650 riv flat with 20in. transom and cant get the cav plate to adjust out right.......Thanks in advance

The angle of the cav plate is the difference....
The majority of them are built for short transoms....
It needs to be parallel and at the same depth as the bottom of the boat hull... If it's a Go Devil you can get Go Devil to reweld it at the correct angle for a tall transom if yours is a short transom model... If you are in doubt call the factory with the frame serial number and they can tell you for sure....
Other option is to cut away most of it and rum Tai style.... Or cut down the transom to 15 inches....
