I run a 9X7 on my 27hp kohler. I am thinking I should have gone with a 9X6. My RPMS are a little lower than they should be (2900-3000 on water)

My boats a 1546 alweld the edges of my prop are razor sharp and it looks like a steak knife the way its worn down.

look on go devils website and they will tell you what props they run on each motor and you can go from there

I have my OOW RPMs set at 4150 with the 27. I can run 3650 WOT 2 people and light load at times. I normally throttle down to 3500 anyways. Thats with a new 9 x 7. Just back off the throttle stop screw.
