Is it the length or the width that's not working for you?

I bet a 37 LT on a 2048 would be wicked for carrying a load and still get pretty good speed too.

Actually, it is the side hieght that I don't like the boat drafts in just a few inches. In my opinion ther is not alot of difference between 21 and 25 mph i'm not racing.

Look at a GoDevil hull. My 1860 has short 17" sides. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I like the go devil boats, but I have never rode in one. We have alot of open water around here and it can get rough 17" sides seem short to me I would prefer 20". I don't go out when its rough but we have all been caught in it. Even though my boat has 28" sides flat jons will get you wet lol.

If it's rough, 3" on the sides won't be enough to make a difference. Lol I've had my boat in rougher water than I care to admit and it's done fine. It's all about using your head. The main thing I'd be worried about with a LT and rough water is not being able to get enough speed to stay on top of the waves. As it is now I can run them pretty well, but several mph slower might get me in a bind.

Nice ride, I wouldn't need a mud hull for where I run , but I am considering one greatly. In my opinion there price compared to other manufactures there in the ball park of 100 gauge welded hulls like war eagle.
