Is there any " how toos" on how to wire in a kill switch on a 13hp? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. where might that be located? Also, my kill switch has 3 prongs on it if I remember right. Im guessin that that once I locate the "engine kill wire" its one in and one out but where does the 3rd prong go.

Most of them have 4 prongs, but you only use 2 of them. Wire it up, try to crank it. If it doesn't crank move the connector to a different prong. Once it cranks, verify the switch will kill the engine. Quick lazy way I normally wire them up.

The kill wire is located on the side of the engine. The little switch that turns it off. Is it a Honda?

Sounds like a duromax, does it have the little dial kill switch on the side? If so, tap into that.

the Black wire with the red stripe is your kill wire going to key ignition. tap it and run to your "kill switch" or find it coming out from under your engine cover.

10/4 Thanks! Ill look for it today after work. I could just go without it (like some do) but I understand the importance of it.
