Smallest Swomp kit on a Marsh Rat
Does anyone run one on the Marsh Rat Magnum? Thinking about ordering it, paddling this beast is a royal pain in the keester.
Thanks

I would think if you bought the kit reinforced the transom inside/out that it would work just fine. I like things being over built. I would get a sleeve welded that would slip over the transom itself, bolt through the transom and bolt, and have a backer plate inside of the hull. If it doesnt make sense, post a picture of the mount from the stern and I'll draw it up

Here is the transom bracket that they sell. It is fiberglass and so is the Magnum, I work with Fiberglass, Graphite and Kevlar every day, so I can reinforce it easily. I even have vacuum capabilities in the shop, so I can it as strong as needed.
I was thinking of one of the small 3/4" shaft motors, they make some that are in the mid 30lb range, 3-5hp.
I just want it to run the river on my place, I can tow it behind the boat on big water, it just paddles like ass.

sorry I missed this during the hunting season..
My motor is the first production model of their "ultra light" I have a 160cc GC honda on it.. It weighs right at 50lbs. Pushes me and gear 7-8 mph..
It's deadly as hell...
