Backwater 27- no speed
Hey everybody, I drive a 17/48 uncle J 3/16 Hull. Pushed by a backwater 27. I think I might be lacking some power, bc I am only getting between 8-12 mph on the river. Are there any modifications or adjustments that I can make so that my motor performs better. My boat never seems to want to plane out, so I’m thinking I’m underpowered.
Thanks

Do you have a tach? What is your rpm? What prop do you have and what shape is it in?

Re: Backwater 27- no speed
I do not have a tach, what is a good one for me to look into installing? Using the stock prop that came with the motor. Might be a bit dinged up, but not horrible.
