I have a old 16hp DuroMax (I think) LT that Im running on a 12' boat. The boat is a pretty solid boat. I just use it for small rivers/ creeks and stuff like that. It floats fine and runs fine.. Its time for a new engine and I was thinking about a predator 22hp. Anybody ever ran a engine that size on a boat that size? I could always step up in boat sizes in the future,,,,,, but don't really want to downsize to a 13hp predator. Or just stick with a new 16-18 hp Duromax and hope to find aftermarket parts??

If you're wanting a 22, get something at least 14'

22hp and frame would be a big load on a little 12' boat.
