Bogging down issues
Pardon my ignorance here. This is my first MM. I have a backwater swomp glider kit on a predator 420 13-14 hp (depending on who you ask). The motor sounds/runs good and the install was easy however, when I drop the prop on the water the motor bogs, rpm's drop and then the motor stalls out. If I muscle it around until gaining a little speed and slowly drop it deeper in the water it will eventually cruise but still if I drop it too low at speed it will stall out. Anyone have any ideas?? Specs are below.
15x38 flat bottom (light not sure of exact weight but it's easily lifted) Predator 420 on backwater kit w/ 9x5 prop

First post didn't realize how mmt monitors their threads. I thought my tapatalk was messed up.
