Anyone have any experience with the durability of pods? Im thinking they would get pretty tore up with a loaded boat and a couple of guys going over logs all the time. Also how do they affect making sharp turns? |

I can't see how they would affect your turning radius. If they are built and installed right I can't see them getting any more tore up than the rest of your hull. |

I have pods on my 1436 (basically making it a 1636) and I love'em. I dont jump logs or anything, but they seem to hold up just fine. I do go through a lot of really shallow stuff during the duck season, and they seem to help keep my ass end afloat, so its not draggin through the mud. I'd prbly do them again if I had the disposable money again. Gee |

I put a set on mine...I made them from 1/8" 5083 aluminum. So far they have held up well. I need to put a bigger motor on now, and see how fast I can go. It really helped the back end sit up higher. 3D Model Flat Pattern Welded Installed |
