One of my buddies got pulled over here in TX. The trooper told him he had to have a light on it. He just got one of those lil red led's that bike riders use. Only LT I ever had, the tail swung into the boat so I never had to worry bout it. |

I have the orange flag from Go-Devil that is used for that exact purpose. Came with the motor when I bought it from the original owner. |

Yea Thanks Guys,I hate gettin pulled for dumb shit and damn if people dont see how close they can get before puttin a prop in their forehead. i called nc dmv and thats all they said "tie a red rag around it" so thats what i'll do. But watch the first hick town i run thru Barney Fife will pull me. |

DOT regs for Louisiana are that anything 4 ft past the end of the trailer should be marked. In my opinion, a red brake light is probably the best set up, but a red flag will suffice. I would be careful, any overly aggressive law official could give you alot of grief about the tail. I swivel mine to the inside of the boat. |

I got a piece of reflective tape on each prop blade and run some orange marking tape through the hole on the cav plate. |
