Post Hotels in the area...
La Quinta Inn & Suites Houston Baytown East
5215 I-10 East
Baytown, TX 77521
(281) 421-5566

Price $59 / night

There is an event at Houston Raceway Park so if your planning on coming reserve your room now so that your not left trying to get a room at the last minute. If we have enough interest with people staying over I can check on group rates. Most last year came & left.

Here is a list of hotels in the area:
http://www.royalpurpleraceway.com/accommodations

I know a few of y'all are staying down in Kemah which is about 25min from the launch. The above hotel is like 10min from the launch.

BOAT STORAGE / TRAILER STORAGE -

Nightly trailer storage & boat storage is available near the launch so, if your looking to drop your boat somewhere safe Friday unhook and head to hotel etc. JJ's Dry Dock is a great place and only 400 yards from the launch. Great place to stop & get ice / bait etc before heading to water.

I have left my boat there numeous times very nice not to have to drag it with you & at only $5 +/- a night its well worth it!

JJ's? If that's the new lil mom & pop store by the ramp we used last year, that's some good folks in there. Met up with em after the Miller Lake ride we had in August. A buddy of mine bought a boat from another member on here & I picked it up for him there. Really nice & straight forward people. ;)

The owner is a stand up guy. Even has a mudboat. He should be up and ready with his salt water tanks by the wallisville ride so if people want to fish they could get shrimp.

Yes, very nice guy. Storage yard is fenced & locked I have left my boat out there for a few days before with no worries and they are there all the time.
