I been thinking about asking for one for my b-day. which ones do you guys recommend? I've heard if you dont se them they will not last as long. Thinking about getting one that you can plug a cord i n and use up the stored power. Any suggestions, I know some of you have them.

I gots the Sears DieHard and it's kind of the lower version thays gots .... 'bout 70 bucks ... and I wouldn't take a GoldMonkey for that thang !!!!! Use it all the time I'm tellin' you. I use it alot for just runnin' a spot lite .... but I'm always puttin' the jump on somethin' with it. IMsO ~ It's one of the bestest inventions of all times !!!!

 Re: portable battery jumper
I have one I bought off the Matco truck about 7 years ago. Very neglected and still works like a champ.

 Re: portable battery jumper
What are the benefits of buying something like that for $70 versus just buying another battery? I always have two big batteries in my boat so I have never seen a need for one.

These things are like a 4x4 truck you don't always need it but its there if you do!
I personally have 2 of them, one for my birthday and one from work!
