Also if you have the opportunity to flip your hull over, it will make for painting the outside of the hull alot easier if your doing it by yourself because the stencils will lay flat on the hull better. But either way you do it, the crimp in the sides are a biotch with the stencils.
Maybe paint the sides at the same time you have it turned over for steelflex.

one trick that i found helpful was to trace the stencil onto a for sale sign and cut it out with a xacto knife....the for sale sign is stiffer and makes it a little easier to put up on the sides if you are doing it yourself

i used stencil adhesive from the craft section at wally world. just a light mist, wait just a sec and then stick it to da boat.
