Post Future Gator Wranglers
As some of yall know, I coached tee ball again this year. For our year end party, we took the kids to Gator Country (Gator 911 on CMT). Here's some of the pics.

Damon and Arlie moving a female to a breeding pond.

And if you've ever wondered, yes, Arlie really is nuts. Seriously tho, he's a helluva guy. More pics coming, why can't I post more than 3 in a post?

Safety is a big thing with those guys over there especially with the public. But no it doesn't take 2 men to handle a gator i can vouch for that just ask CAMO. Actually the gator handled me.

Actually JC, she was a lil over 6', and like Turbo said, it's safety first when you've got 30 people standin within about 10' of em (especially when about 15 of those were young'ns). And just for the record, if ya think these are tamed gators, come on over and go for a swim with em. These are the same gators you see em catchin on tv, only they've been there for a lil while. I thought we were gonna see Big Al (13'-9", largest in captivity in Texas) eat ol Damon when he almost lost his footin.

Well actually, aside from the excited kids, this was just another day at the park. Funny thing is Gary has had this place for several years and it wasn't anything outta the ordinary for us. Some out of towners come by and next thing ya know it's on national tv, kinda like yall got Swamp Loggers. I initially posted this to show the kids' excitement, but realized I didn't have enough pics of just my kids without the other kids in em, so instead of the kids forum, I put it here. Sorry to bore ya JC. Maybe ya can go watch em cut down some trees one day, since that seems to be some awesome to yall.

the post was about some SETX pansies who are tryna look like badasses.. but its ok everyone from la knows that SETX phags are really la wanna be's!

good job showin the kids that it takes 2 ppl to mangle a 5 or 6 ft gator. in a survival situation, they'd be screwed.

if u honestly think that those gators arent a little sedated and tamed, then u my friend are just as ignorant as the city folk there tryna impress.

i think i 'll stick to raising my kids in the true swamp on a true alligator..

have a nice day 8-)

I agree, it doesn't take 2 or 3 guys to snatch a small gator up, but their goal is to make sure the gator does not get injured. Anybody can snare one with a piece of chicken on a hook and then shoot it in the head, Gary's goal is to capture and relocate the animal injury to it or any of the guys. I will say this, alot of what is on the show is overplayed for the tv. We've watched these guys for a few yrs, and almost never see it like it shows on the tv. They try to educate the public about gators, to try to reduce the fear some people have of them. Wannabe bad asses, they're not, just like Phil Robertson is not the pompous arrogant ass he appears to be on the DC show on Versus. Sad reality is that's what sells shows in America today, the unreal part of the reality shows.
