 harsh words for Nebraska
It looks like today is the day that is officially the beginning of the end for the Big XII Conference.
Most teams seem happy with the move that will create the Pac-16 megaconference and send Colorado and Nebraska to the (now) Big 10. The only problem is that my team is one of the 4 refugees stuck out in the rain with not good place to go, at this point.
I will say this, the big 12 was never meant to last. It was simply an arranged marraige between the dying big 8 and the dead SWC. So you can't be too surprised. What is surprising to me, is how the Big 12 didn't extend the invite to TCU and/or SMU, since TCU loves to blame there conference for the strengh of schedule problem.
Maybe Im alone on this one, but it will feel odd seeing OU and UT in a Pacific Conference, and my Baylor bears probably joining up with the Moutnain West.

I am ready for UT to start kicking some ass on the Pacific Coast. Although I would love to see UT and OU join up with the SEC because that would be unreal but I dont see that ever happening.

I actually agree, Sand Man.
It does nothing good for BU or TCU, unless you can get someone in there like Boise and try and get a BCS bid. Wich is not totally unrealistic.
And trust me, adding the 4 teams will not hurt your stength of schedule, considering the existing conference members.

Maybe Baylor, KU, KSU, Iowa State, TCU/SMU, and Notre Dame could join together and form the Insignificant VI Conference.
