the day before opening day of duck season two years ago I was out scouting and sticking blind material in the mud at the spot I decided to hunt well the night before this I was at a buddies party and had to pull my boat there because I was going to the other side of town for the party well someone said there was a crowd of people checking my go devil long tail out out in the driveway.

Well this didnt mean much to me I didnt care as long as nothing got taken out of the boat right? so the next day which is now back to the day before opening day I finished up the blind material was headed out and smelled smoke and then shortley after that the engine started to bog down I looked back and there was the engine oil flowing out of the oil fill hole like a stuck hog and by the time I realized it was too late the engine seized.

So I waded about 2 or 3 hours and finally these two guys in mud boats pulled up with Kholer long tails from Shrevport, La and tossed me something to drink and started hooking up a tow rope no questions asked or nuthin well anyway long story short these guys towed me back helped me load my boat but listen to this then the ask me if I wanted to hunt with them the next mornin so I did it rained most of the mornin but we still killed I think it was 2 birds short of a limit.

anyway the reason I tell this story is because im trying to get in contact with these two generous men and wondered if they have an account here on MMT if so please PM me and this was on wright patman lake out at Maulden landing
