The field goal attempt that New Orleans Saints kicker Garrett Hartley's missed in overtime on Sunday may prove to be very costly.

The team intends to try out new kickers this week, NBC and ESPN reported.

Hartley missed a 29-yard kick that would have defeated the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Instead, the Falcons handed the Saints their first loss of the season with a field goal later in overtime.

Hartley made a 32-yarder in the final seconds of regulation to send the Saints into overtime. But his missed came after he failed to convert two field-goal attempts in Week 1.
