well after 3 months of waiting i am headed to uncle J's today to pick up my new rig! 17 58 with a 35 gatortail thats been modded out by the boys at SETX. gona be my first time to louisiana. its a 14hr trip but sure itll fly by. was realy hoping to get to eat some crayfish while i was there but hear there outa season?? WTF?? guess shrimp will have to do...

never had a mud motor before and kinda wanted to try it stock first but didnt want to do the mods myself or make the trip back south just for that so i figured go big and be done with it!

well we made it to just south of jackson ms today. gona finaly see this rig in person tomorrow. hope to take it out sunday evening or monday for sure. cant wait to see if it will get us up the river with it this low. I will have the only mud motor in the area except 1 longtail. just havent caught on here yet. had a airboat for the last 2 years and got tired of the maintanince and noise but it would get us where nobody else was. hope this thing does what i think it will...

slightly curved sheerline instead of straight. It would look like a beautiful woman then.

We went on our adventure. I think slim was surprised. This was his first time in a MM. I got a GPS from Jason Breaux. With Slim driving, we seen 31.2. Deepwater. I can say I was scared to death due to his first time touching a mudmotor(much less driving one). He experienced La Mud, and the art of getting unstuck.

Awesome rig. Can't say enough good about uncle j. He went far above and beyond. Gota see the real Louisiana, see why y'all run long skinny light boats. Got to meet some of y'all on here and see what "ridin" is all about. Good times. Got a 100qt cooler full of fresh shrimp (true treat in Illinois ) cheap!!! And ate some good seafood. Headed home.will have a report up shortly. She's a heavy boat but it'll flat run!

What really impresses me the mostess .... is the house behind the rig in the first photo ..... just imagine ..... bein' ables to afford two air-condioners as well as duel satalite antinies .... some of the wealth in the south just flat out amazes me somtimes.
