 COLORADO VACATION HELP
if anyone knows of a cabin that is really nice, please advise me.. We are trying to plan a trip within the next couple of weeks. The kids have really never seen snow, and want to ski and just play in it. I would really like a cabin which has some sort of mountain/hill really close so that the kids can slide down via tube.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks in Advance.. Jason

 Re: COLORADO VACATION HELP
If the focus is getting some snow, why not find a good ski resort? You'd be guaranteed fun and mountains and all that stuff, unless you're set on seeing Colorado specifically.

 Re: COLORADO VACATION HELP
J I got some info for you. I'll try and email it today. My bad on the delay. And Steamboat has the best snow, or it did 2 days ago when I was there.

X2 on Red River, New Mexico! been there numerous times and once christmas 03'. Great little town with a great ski area for all ages and skill levels, lots of neat little shops. also serveral snowmobile tours. And if you choose Red River, be sure you eat at Shotgun Willies!! if they are still in business!

 Re: COLORADO VACATION HELP
Breck is the chit man , you will love it. Oh and for some good grub when yo're there. You need to go to Q4U in Frisco. NO BS, I lived in CO for 5 years and would routinely travel to Frisco(same exit off I-70 as Breckenridge) to get this BBQ. Its KC style and they smoke everything. I even brought em sum venison on my way to the mtn. They smoked it while i skiied and I came back and enjoyed it with some Bud on tap. Aint nothin better to eat up there, especially won't hurt your wallet neither. ENJOY!!!!
