 Hard to start when..... Rev limiter is attached, it can be started with it attached its just a PITA. As soon as you unhook it it fires right up, do i have a wire wrong, and when i get it started it'll work fine but when you turn off its hard to start again. Anyone have closure on this

Re: Hard to start when..... Na, not gonna make it down. Motors are all torn down at the moment. Pops is selling his boat this weekend, and mine will be up for sale soon as I get the new motor all together. Hope we can get some new rigs and back up and running in time to make some rides this summer...

Re: Hard to start when..... Ya got the red wire hooked up to the wrong hot wire in the harness. Ya probably got it hooked to the clutch power wire. There's a grey wire in the harness that will stay hot, even when in the "start" position. That's the wire ya want.
