How my job went in Berwick
Was on a photoshoot Monday at Cameron in Berwick for a loadout of a manifold package. They wanted to get some shots of the tug and barge sailing away and some shots from the old Berwick bridge. No problem as I shot some photos of another loadout the week earlier from it.
The weather sucked but I drove to the Morgan City seawall and parked to make the climb up to the bridge. I was in position in the middle of the span and waiting for the tug and barge to pass (they were in the locks). All the sudden a Berwick police car drives up with the blue lights on. He gets out of the car and I tell him hi and explained that I was waiting to take some photos. I asked if someone called and he said yes, the Coast Guard. They have cameras to watch the marine traffic and they saw me. I guess they thought I was a terrorist or was gonna jump. Told him I didn't think jumping would do me in as it was only about 50' down.
As we're talking, 4 more cops roll up. Turns out they shut the bridge down because of me. Once they figured out that I was Tony Broussard from Loreauville, and that I was a high powered political figure and the owner of MMT, the baddest website on da planet, they were on their way.
I guess the shittiest part of the whole deal was that as the tug was coming down the river I noticed a white wall of rain coming in front of it. All of the sudden it started raining buckets with wind that felt like I was in a hurricane. I had to run all the way back across the bridge to get down and got soaked. Had a poncho top on but no bottom. Turns out I didn't know we were under a tornado watch.
Never even got the shots. I spent over an hour waiting. Oh well, just another day, another dollar.

I wasn't breakin' da law, I was on the pedestrian sidewalk, guess by me not "walking" they got nervous Told the cop that it was a good thing they came, I could be anybody up here (like a terrorist and whatnot). They were really cool with me.

Re: How my job went in Berwick
Yeah, you gotta watch that crappy, every since 9/11 USCG have cracked down on terrorist crap. There is cameras all over down there in Berwick,as it is a high traffic area. I travel that very frequently on the boat, and they have cameras all the way from Wax lake spillway to no. 5 on the Port Allen Route, and every point in between. Good thing you are a celebrity, cause if not one of them lil orange boats might of gunned you down with one of them bad ass 50 cals. On the front.

Re: How my job went in Berwick
Next time I go I'll tell the company to call the cops to let them know that a celebrity will be on the bridge and not to get excited
