Post Let me tell ya'll something.
Last week I made my third trip down to loureville la. I went to pick up a boat a pro-drive. I was in a hurry and didn't really get to spend as much time as I wanted to but drove away impressed once again.

Here is what impressed me and I have a good feeling that it is the same way at Gatortail based on the conversations I have had with Kyle in the past:
The Pro drive shop was full of smiling faces. Everyone there really likes what they do and they like getting to know the people that buy their products.
These guys are a family. They work together and take care of each other.

This is such a great example of what makes America strong. A small business based on a good idea by people who don't stop thinking about and finding new ways to improve. They sell some motors and re-invest in their facilities and technology. It is AWESOME to see what these guys are doing.

That being said, nobody there was looking for any goverment bailout or help. They are very self suficient and ready for whatever challenges pop up. My hat goes off to them and Gatortail. Ya'll have put your small town on the map in a big way . Keep chuggin fellas and don't let the govt buggers get ya down.

God Bless ya!

I went down to the Gator-Tail shop a couple weeks ago. I had a very similar experience and saw the same pride in quality in all the people working there. It is a good sized operation but everyone was like family.

I also liked the area. Memphis is overrun with crime, drugs, corrupt politicians, poverty, and all that comes with it. I live out in a "country" area- you know, where the city people buy 5 acres and a pony and call it a farm! It is nice enough but it aint far to ghetto! And it aint far enough that I can shoot my rifles freely around here. Down there, it was very rural but people had nice, well kept houses/farms/gardens/yards, clean businesses, etc. It was obvious that the people.... well, there give-a-damn wasnt broke like it is here. I could smell the entreprenural spirit in south LA (and some crawdads)!

It must be the coast and all those high paying jobs coming from the ports and the oil. Fluor, Valero, BP, Shell, Zachary, etc.

My compliments to you coonasses.
