Post FEMA trailer auction
http://www.hendersonauctions.com/

I saw this on another website and thought some of you might be interested. I saw a thread on here months ago looking for trailer for a camp and nobody really knew where to get them. Well here they are. Too bad the auction is smack dab in the middle of hunting season. I know I won't be able to make it. If anyone does, I would love to know what kind of shape these things are in, and what they sell for.

I had alot of dealings with fema and fema trailers after the storms. Some of them will be trashed and others will be unused. They had one with a dead body in it that they thought the frige went out because of the slime on the floor of the kitchen until they noticed the body that POPPED because of the heat in the trailer  That one got burned out back.

Some were thrown together very quickly and we were told that they were not meant to on the road like a regular RV.They were just a quick fix for the lack of housing.

dog walker, I understand what you're saying, but many people I have talked to are thinking of using these for deer camps to sleep in 20-30 nights out of the year at the most. Many people are not real concerned about the smell or the history of these things, they are concerned about getting a cheap place to camp and stay dry.

Oh no I hear what your screamin, alot of people are getting them for the same purposes.I was just letting folks know that they are either spotless or trashed and the quality is not there. As far as prices some people that never had fema pick them up were able to get them for pennies on the dollar from fema.I'm not sure about the auctions though.
