 Choke Problem!!
I have a Benelli Nova and the other day i went to clean my gun again and i couldnt get my choke out? I cleaned it about week before that and didnt have any problem getting the choke out. I didnt tighten back down too tight just like i always do. Well i broke my benelli choke remover and i still dont know what to do. Shoots just fine though(thats a benelli for ya) but i was jw if anyone has ever ran into that before and what you did to fix it. Thanks alot guys. Much appreciated

 Re: Choke Problem!!
Squirt some penetrating oil in there that's safe for guns... I'm not sure of a brand ask your local gunsmith... WD40? Not sure if it will damage finish etc... Just buy a replacement wrench and try again? Lefty loosey

 Re: Choke Problem!!
MY SBE had a choke freeze up and had to be cut out.It was a factory modified and had expanded from shooting 1 and BB through it.I had tried everything from penetrating oils to heat, the gunsmith tried everything and cutting it out was the only option.

 Re: Choke Problem!!
Place the barrel in 30 weight motor oil heat until oil starts to smoke turn off heat let cool the choke wil come out then.Needless to say do this out side in a old pan or metal can.Always use choke lube will prevent sticking.

 Re: Choke Problem!!
According to several gunsmiths I know WD40 is not good to use with gunpowder residue. Suprisingly Causes things to stick, and jam when mixed with gunpowder residue.

1. use neverseize next time. 2. use gun and be happy with whatever choke is in it. or.... throw that p.o.s. nova away and go buy a good gun.
