Re: moonshine hey gigafowl, i drank some south-a-da-borda' stuff one time too,for the openin' of the texas shrimp season one time. the stuff did me almost jus the same like you talkin abot,not really bad tastin,actually refreshin' on a hot july afternoon.after jest 1 big cup-a-dis-shit, i was seein' tracers,chrome maggits floatin',colored circles attackin' seagulls,you name it.talk about a headache after........
i think the mexican deck-hand called it a payotee daquiri...or sumthin'. |

Re: moonshine Now substitute 'meth' in place of alcoholic beverage and you have what I deal with everyday I go to work. Meth makers are the new moonshiners. The work the man was doing to make shine was over doing it. He could make meth alot easier and show more profit.

As a lawman you really see it all !!! We live in a coastal Texas area that was hugely impacted by hurricane Ike a year and a half ago.... The rural areas of Liberty and Hardin counties were also hugely impacted.... These rurals had their old shacks and trailers destroyed and got FEMA money for housing and moved into the cities --- bringing their meth labs with them..... I mean almost every neighborhood even the higher end ones --- now have these damnations up and producing in homes that are up for rent with the banking and the foreclosure environment.... We have 2 in our neighborhood that have been visited by swat teams twice now --- like rats, you pull 10 out and 10 new ones move right back into the house.... Cause it already has a flow of clients used to coming there for their fix.... Insted of going after the owner who rents it --- they go after the rats --- cause the owner is a bank....
