Post Beware,of the CaddoLake Monster!
I was runnin along the northshore this week, when up popped this "HOTTIE"(4ft. tall+300lb.s) from between two fellas in a stickstear boat, flailing her lifejacket in the air. I figured either they had boat trouble ,or she thaught I was some celebrity and wanted my autograph. :? So I turned and went back.
Are ya`ll OK? I asked.
"Yeah were OK, but that damn motor is too loud", SHE BELLOWED!
I`ll be glad when they outlaw them damn things, she exclaimed! :!: :!: :!:
Thanks for sharing that with me, I retorted.
Then I engaged my "loud damn lawnmower motor", and rode off into the sunset. :)
Just a word of caution, if you plan on ridin on Caddo, "the Caddo Lake Monster is real", I have seen her , and was lucky enough to have survived.
Good luck, and God speed!

Post Re: Beware,of the CaddoLake Monster!
Please, Mud brothers, take this warning seriously!
Snacks will do you no good.(Colt 45(40oz.)maybe).But don`t risk it,this was a truly terrifying creature. Covered from head to toe in tube top & juicy shorts(well kinda covered), but it was`nt the appearence that was frightning, it was the smell, it was a kind of mixture of bream bed & auqua velva, like nothing I had smelled before.
Please don`t attempt to capture, approach or feed this beast, I`m afraid that might be what happened to the two fellas in the stickstear boat. They just had a kind of blank stare on there face, like they had been horribly cowtowed, or just lost all hope.
My purpose is not to frighten, just to inform, and forewarn.
Again, good luck and God speed!

Spent the weekend at Caddo this weekend too....

Brought two tourboats to a full stop - didn't really notice them - cause
we were jumping from pond to pond - doin land "skippin" - they was snapin
pics left and right....

Hope that wasn't ya'll - ridin past The Shady Glady at full plane - in a loud
PD - cause they was gettin pretty steamed - it bein a no wake zone...

If that wasn't ya'll - you probly just caught some of the aggression that
was meant for them guys....

Dear Giga, I know what NO WAKE ZONE means, and we never went by Shadyglade. It might have been your "land skippin" for the tour boats, that braught out the beast in the normally cordial young lady.
Just a thaught!

Sure Jus10, BR549, but don`t do it, you`ll never forgive yourself, or get the smell off your deck. ;)

Lake is still quite beautiful.... Although almost all of the
big lillypads and floating floral displays were gone this year....

Well - after putt puttin past Shady Glady no wake zone - follow
the U trail - about mile or two - just past a red bouy - there are
a series of ponds just off to the left of the main channel with lil
sandbars dividing them that ya can "land skip" over to get into
them to play - they are kinda shallow and the mud is soft and
workable....
