Post ice chest radios
I'm wanting to build an ice chest radio and I was wantin to see yalls setups, I've tried searching and couldn't come up with anything. I'm thinking about starting off with the bass pro Pyle or Dual marine combos. But I'm just looking for ideas right now.

just a thought. but sony makes the tube players now.. ( 6" pipe w/ the 2 90s speakers in end radio in middle w/ aux input) my cousin bought one b/c its waterproof and he can put it in his boat, rhino, 4 whlr.. as long as u have a 12 V receptacle. he zip ties it to his rhino overhead, or on the front rack of a 4 whlr. last time i saw it it was layin the bottom of his boat lol

for the money you caint beat the sound quality of memphis marine
stay away from cd players they skipp
do and ipod/mp3 player with an amp ( look at arc audio (good price/quality)
if you want to spend the money i would do rockfordphosgate's new speaker
the M2's. they are the loudest best sounding marine speaker ive heard yet!!

Okay the setup you see pictured is 4 speakers (marine) the wires for all 4 speakers run straight to the amp. The amp has a power, ground and remote wires.

Note: since I run mine off a battery that sits in the cooler and remove the wires to control when the unit is on I had to add a wire from the positive to the remote terminal on the amp.

You do not need a CD player or head unit to play an MP3 player such as an IPod you can run it straight to the amp using the ipod connector cord to a red/white audio cable split found at any Best Buy or Radio Shack store.
