whooops, just saw that you already had the ipod case memphis marine makes a damn good speaker and sound great too. fairly cheap for what you get. i had mine underwater and pressure washed them after every ride. Never had a problem with them |

turbo.... the otter box is just a protective case.... the box i show is a radio FM Tuner.... with iPod control capabilities from the wireless waterproof/dustproof remote. oh and a wonderful addition to my Ryobi Tek 4 headset.... just run the 3.5mmm cable to the plug on the left ear now i can drive and change channels.... i can multi-task... aint dat something RP4530_1_Final.jpg |

Can you pm me the info on that iPod dock? Or post it up. And do you just hook that up direct to the speakers, or do you still need a head unit? |

The iPod/FM Tuner is the head unit with built in amp and wireless remote.... it comes with the harness with provisions for 4 speakers (4 ohms) x 50W and RCA (sub out or 3.5mm out) http://www.aquaticav.com/products/sourc ... aq-dm-2bx/ purchased from Gander Mtn Online http://search.gandermountain.com/?D=aqu ... aquatic+av 004.jpg you can see the 12 pin plug for wiring... it comes with the female end that has pre-stripped wires for wiring... the manual can be downloaded from the product website for details 002.jpg i have to get an Al box built to mount it and run the wiring so it can be removed easily by just disconnecting the main battery. also it allows a provision for control of low amp lighting (300mA) by the push of a button on the remote which may be beneficial to some. |

jason the one you have a link to has to have an external dock for the iPod hooked up.... It is more like this one... http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/australia ... oduct.aspx but neither of those have a remote... like the one pictured does.... that was the factor that made me go with AquaticAV over Fusion and Fusion offers 70Wx4 and the one pictured is 50wx4.... which is easily remedied by an external amp |
