Mr Brooks several years ago my family and I seen some wood indian carvings while on vacation. My wife made a big to do over them and I placed the info in the back of my brain. Well as luck would have it I found a guy nearby that did indian wood carvings. So I ran the guy down and bought a large wooden indian head. He wanted way more than I was willing to pay but I wheeled and dealed him down to a acceptable price. I paid him the money and made arrangements for a later pickup on our anniversary. On that special day I get my dad to go with me and we pick it up. It was a very large indian head with a big feather in his hair. While I was off to get the present my inlaws arrive from Missouri. Upon pulling in the driveway with this big head in the back of my truck I hear my mother in law and my wife say 'what in the hell is that' at the same time.  Before I even get it out she said that had better not be her present and if it is not to put it on our porch. So now I'm mad and I call my buddy who lives on the highway. I asked him if I could put it out there to sell and he said bring it on. Well less than two days later I sold it for double what I paid for it. Now the funny thing is who bought it.....one of my wifes favorite pizza joints. So everytime we go get pizza I always ask the people about that cool looking indian head. They brag about owning it. Dang good story Randy !!!! Thats one thang that I sho-nuff have problems with 'bout bein' married ..... anuversires, valentines, all them dates that you gots to put on some kind of performance ..... I ain't never .... I mean never went and done the right thang !!!! We got all up in the crisis again yesterday ...... she be wantin' to go on a cruise ..... I said .... git in the boat and we will cruse all the way to the dam !!!!!!! Come August the 2nd ..... it will be 25 years ..... and I ain't gots a clue on a good way to put the celabrations to the ...... So Very Important Date .....  I'm gonna put the google to it and see what in mines budgit I reckon ...... I shall report back with some ghay trip or somethin' and let ya'lls put a good laugh too it !!!!

Well Giga ~ Thats so far is what I been lookin' at. I gots a friend just gots back off the Carnival Conquest .... and he said it was a hoot !!! Ima kind of lookin' at the Carnival Ecatisy 'cause it has a short one ...... kind of a cruise wanna be ...... leaves on a Thursday and yore back on Monday ....... pricin' don't look bad at all ....... I reckon I can put up with anythang fo that many days !!!! Don't really sound like somthin' I would git such a trill out of ..... but a feller gots to do what a fellers gots to do .......

the Cruise an go carnival the other one they kinda stuffy but carnival they like us rednecks they like to party,before ya go got to wal-marts and buy a bunch of those $5.00 caps camo, nfl, colledge type. put a new one every morning go eat the breakfast buffet then fixx a bigg tray of meat ,eggs,an taters pick three or four forks an go to the pool bar they open at 10:00am tell the bar keep u cant eat no more would he take care of the tray for u.he will put u on a buy 1 get 3 tab if he likes ur cap give it to him same thing and ur drinks will be the best,coldest an u wont have to wait. remeber a cold beer is 5.00$ U CAN bring a bottle but u have to leave it in ur room.if like dr.pepper bring it they have it. good luck an have fun but please dont walk on the hand rails if u fall off they wont stop or turn around |

Brooks, Been on them 4 day runs in Extacy.... The food is outa this world man... An there is an "adult" tanning area ! ! ! Lowest prices we got were about 350 each for lower decks - 550 each for room with a portal... The ride is best on the lower decks in the midlle of the boat - they number 1 to almost 200 on each deck or floor the 80 to 120 numbers have the best "sleepin ride" where it don't move much... Food is all included - but they hit ya hard on drinks even bottled water was like 5.00.... They let you bring a small ice chest on-board to your room and no beer or liquor - but you can bring like 8 bottles of wine - soda and water.... We usually pack a duffel bag full - and bring the lil ice chest.... Dang Haynotion room boys fill it with ice and drinks every time you walk out the door... Kind spooky I went to lookin under the bed to see was they hidin down there - they was so quick to fill it up and fold some wierd critter outa my towels... |

Hotdog I got her nothing that year but have been making up since then. I believe we are going to Hawaii in Jan or Feb. Like Mr Brooks we are nearing 25 yrs and my wife said we are renewing our vows on our 25th. I would like to do a cruise but we are not into the drinking scene. I like a few beers or some nice bourbon every now and then but would rather go to Hawaii or Alaska and do a quality fishing trip or two. I'm on the river fishing approx 300 out of 365 days and still love to fish. Our trips are fun but there will be some fishing done. Randy |

Contrats here too Mr and Mrs Brooks. Right now I am sitting at the 50mm on I64 with a tractor/trailer broke down in the very middle of the interstate and we are in dense fog. This could be my last post. I worked a wreck in the same area about an hour ago and was on edge with vehicles flying by and swerving at the last minute. Hope this is not my last post. Mines woman ain't a perfect match fo me ..... but we sho been together it seems a long time !!!!! I sent her some flowers to her job ..... took her out the the OutBack SteakHouse and got thowed out of a private place ... ..... so far !!!!!! We still gots some cellibratin' to do ..... just cain't make up our minds .....That cruise ship was soundin' good 'till I found out I gots to have a passport ...... I'm a Texas High School graduate (kind of)..... served mines country in the armed forces ..... been payin' taxes fo over 37 years ..... and I gots to have a passport to git on a boat in Galveston, Texas !!!!!!! Thay can Kiss-A-FatMans butt ..... I'm stayin' in mines own country and do mines tourin'. May git in the car and ride up to Memphis, TN and put the tour on the Kings mansion (GraceLand) and then over to Nashville and check some thangs out ...... May even ride over to Earl's .... always wanted to see that part of America !!!! |

Come on up Brooks Im about halfway between the two... I can hook y'all up with an anniversary cruise on the TN River and cook up some good steaks for ya.. No passport needed.. (the passport is what holds me back from leaving out on a cruise).. My girlfriend is a Travel Agent with PR Travel, if she can help ya out with something let me know... Graceland is cool to see once.. Memphis is Ok but Nashville is the place to be... Again, come on up.... We have some sights to see up this way... And Happy (day late) Anniversary to You and the Misses.. |
