I bought some of these decoy cord crimps does anyone have any advice on how to best put them on i got some of the pvc cord stuff its clear just lookin for the fastest way to do this seeing we have a boat load of decoys to do.

I used electrical butt splice crimps work well. But I do agree with DeathMetalDuck my cords broke throughout the season. :evil: It really sucks when the sun comes up and your decoys are on the other side of the lake.

use line the cord breaks when it gets cold switched all my decoys after the first year with the cord!

I used my bench vise to crimp mine. All we use is the PVC line and the crimps. I've found the trick is to crimp them enough to hold but not so much that the crimp cuts the PVC cord. Out of 5 or so dozen decoys, I only have to replace lines, maybe 1 decoy per year. Usually the cause is one of my buddies will wrap the line WAAAAY too tight around the keel.
