Out with Josh yesterday building blinds. The snakes are out so watch your step. Saw 2 water moccasins and damned if Josh didn't almost step on a coral snake. |

I've always wanted to come across a coral snake in the wild. |

![]() ![]() Sounds like one of the best reasons to have a pop-up blind on your boat. I hate getting in old blinds. |

Never come across a coral snake either. Heard their bad poison though. |

They're poison is deadly, but they have to chew on you to get it in. They don't have fangs like a rattler or cotton. We ran into them a couple times at the lake we lived on back in FL. I was young so there's a possibility they were kings, but we didn't take any chances. |

corals have rear fixed fangs. like he said, they have to get a good chew on ya. anyone who receives a full bite from one is a tard. that's pretty rare that you came across one in the wild. the only one i've seen in the wild was in arizona. we were there collecting rattlers and came across a juvenile coral. pretty sankes. remember guys: red touches yellow, kill a fellow re touches black, venom lack just might save ya a$$ one day. |
