Hello, I was talking with Uncle J and he suggest that I post a msg on here. My wife and I are road tripping for our vacation and will be heading south from Arkansas starting Sunday heading toward Pass Christian and then on to Slidell and New Orleans by mid week(15th) which is when we would be looking at going out. He said he was heading to Brazil or he would take us out, but there was a bunch of great people on here that he was sure someone could hook us up with a non tourist swamp trip to see true Louisiana. We would be willing to travel down to Morgan City if that’s where the best would be. I am a radio DJ and I think it would give me allot to share with my listeners when I get back. You can reach me at djpeace@djpeace.net or by phone 870-424-9909 Thank you, Bob Van Haaren |

Poker1 thanks for the link... I have nothing against the comecial guys... just seems that you don't get the real feel for the area or the people when you do them with a dozen other people. But I forsure will keep them in mind. |

I live in bay saint louis mississippi right next to slidell and i know you might be alittle against the guides, but they have one over in right inside louisiana that is die for, you go out in small groups or just you and your wife and ride in the SWAMP. I did it once and will be back again they are really really good i would put my name on it, they caught gators to hold and you will never forget the animals you will see on that trip, i say give em a chance they will not let down i could tour you the marsh but not the swamp i dont know that good enough to try to take someone else |
