Used to work there when it was new. Belonged to Texaco. Who owns it now? We had some of the first sub sea wells in the gulf flowing into there. The old Shasta wells. |

That facility is in about 600 feet of water as I remember. It will most likely be referbed and reused. Nice thing about a jacket from a facility at that depth is it can be shortened if needed. The topsides and all process equipment will also be reused. Lots of times a P&A company will buy everything prior to removal or another company will buy the facility for reuse prior to removal. Other times it will be pulled and stacked until needed or just scrapped. I doubt this one will be scapped it's not that old. |

BROOKS I think we need to find out where they gonna be blowin the legs off one of them rigs. Lookin at them underwater pictures I suddenly realized the amount of fish that must be floatin after they set them charges off  You know there is some fine eatin that hangs around them rigs And Mr Green Jeans don't work that far off shore
