I reconfigured my fish box in my plateboat. I need two aluminum weld on hinges for the lids. I need the flat piano type for .125 or 1/8" material. I need two three foot pieces. Where can I order these from or do you know where I can buy them? I did a search on the net and found all kinds but since I don't have my hands on them I am afraid to order them due to too flimsy of material. My box lids are covers but get walked on and the hinges need to be rugged but lay flat. Rugged like the ones on the Go Devil lids or other mudboat box lids.

Did you try your local metal supplier. I know we have one hear in town that stocks a pretty good selection of hinges.

No I did not but will first thing in the morning. I went on and ordered one off the net but I don't think its gonna be heavy enough. Thanks for the tip.

You will have to check it out I know I needed some awhile back. Bought some stuff that I know will not hold up for the test of time. Stopped at the supplier to pick up some aluminium sheets and they had this cute little display. Nice heavy duty stuff. Next time I will go there.

Give me some measurements. I can send you some. We make our own, so I have the factory one lying around.
