I know the Maxus is almost identical to the SX3 and I love that gun. I've had now going on 3 seasons never had a single jam with it, and I dont clean it very often. Light fast and durable so far no complaints on this end. |

I shot both guns at the range Even though Im a benelli fan I did not like the Vinici it just did not feel natural. Not saying that I could not get used to it. The Maxus was a sweet shooting gun. felt natural to shoot and swings great. I still would not trade my SBE II for either gun. |

Robin2 on this forum has a Maxus, and he really likes the gun. It had a small issue that browning resolved and since then its been a great gun. |

I handled a Vinci and a SBE. The SBE fit me better, and it's not much more. And I know they have a good track record. |

The black SBE 2 rusts like a son of a bitch. Thats why mine is currently en route to blackice coatings for some teflon. |

Get you a Browning Gold or Silver. Maxis givin folks a buncha problems. I don't like the Benelli's for the extra price. |

Get both!! Problem soved!! I would go with the Maxus (coming from a Benelli fan) i just do not like the feel of the Vinci. Buddy has a Maxus and is a great gun from what i saw. And the Vinci is a 3'' gun. |

Had a Maxus for a year. Like it better than any other shotgun I've owned except for g-pas sxs 20. The safety is weird but not as weird as the Vinci. The only shells I've found that won't cycle are Remington Gun Club 7.8oz dove loads. 7/8. Anyway I don't know why because other promo loads will work fine. I just bought some hotter shells and went at it. I killed about a hundred doves with it last month. I'm buying a wood/blue 3" model next summer. I want the same frame and set-up just in a nicer look for upland and clays. I'm too stupid ot learn two guns. |
