Why is it legal to shoot deer over corn but not ducks?
Its not illegal to shoot ducks over smell is it

Im sitting here watching Ducks Unlimited and they are hunting ducks in a corn field next to a refuge and they are just shooting these ducks over corn why is it not legal for us to just bust a bag of corn in a field or pond and be doing the same thing they are. You cannot tell me that they are hunting in a flooded corn field and all that corn is left over from cutting they bait them fields. |

where is it legal to shoot deer over corn isnt that baiting also like these laws are so weird i dont see how its still legal to use a light while floundering isnt that kinda spotlighting in some form |

Its getn harder and harder for us down here on da bye-yo every year to kill sum ducks. Seems to me dat dem sorry a$$ people over der wit dat Ducks Unlimited,dey make der own rules. They try an keep all dees birds from der natural migration by heatin dees ponds ,blah,blah,blah....those mutha friggas aint getn a penny of ma hard earned money! |

I tried that stuff a few yrs ago. Didn't kill any more because of it, but I sure was hungry by the end of the hunt. It was like sittin by a big stack of pancakes & syrup the whole time.

I have found a way around it all. Sweet potatoes.... Now I know what you are thinking... You can't even use them for deer .... But just lend me an ear for a few and i'll let you in on a little something..... The regulation for bait is that you can't hunt over a field that was " baited " unitll 10days after all bait has been removed.... Correct????? Totally. You take your boiled sweet potatos and put them in pillow cases.... It's importamt to put them in pillow cases and not say a crawfish sack bc portions of the potatoes could get out... Now sink the sacks in your "honey hole" (cuz that's what it'll be) 11 days before the season go back and remove the sacks. This gives you 10 consecutive days after the bait has been removed, but the area is already sweetened..... Your Welcome... |

Well bait is something they can eat -- if its just a smell how is that bait Why not just bury the sack of sweet taters -- you still have the smell but no food |

You can call it whinning or bit$hing about it but if you sat there and killed less and less every year and then you turn the tv on and they hunting in what you know is a baited field and you not get alittle mad then something is wrong with you going to try the potatoes thing i guess how does it work exactly ducks just dont fly the same flyway anymore they move more and more over toward setx every year "more food" |

in mississippi we just cant do it in sight of the stand so you just place the feeder behind a tree or something that blocks your view it works |

Yall wouldn't get out of bed to hunt the Atlantic Flyway. Seriously...it's terrible here. The Chesapeake Bay is all but dead because of all the nutrients and sediments dumped in it. Birds are staying NSEW of here. Guys are booking trips to shoot sea ducks. WTF? |

im driving 6 hours to hunt my 4000 acres in north mississippi to see ducks not to mention kill them i love that they are flying to louisiana and texas i just wanted to know how they get so much pull on the laws |
