 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
i agree. I just don't understand why someone would buy a $1000 + shotgun for duck hunting (regardless of pump or auto). Must be the clear water pirate types that buy em, cause a $1000 gun is just gonna end up in the same piss poor shape as the $300 pump gun that came from the pawn shop.

We gotta spend money like that cause Obama is gonna take it and give it to some crackhead on welfare anyway.

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
different strokes for different folks. But, i get more reliability from my old nova at a cheaper price. IF the day comes that i actually have to replace it, i can buy 2 more of em and still spend less than a grand.

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
Who's to say your nova is more reliable? Not ditching the nova as they are a proven gun. But to say one is more reliable than the other is a strong statement. Especially (Im guessing ) when youve never put a $1000 gun through the ringer.

I have to agree with DDM,a fine shooting gun is a fine shooting gun. Shot enough pumps to know that I like a good auto now.

The bottom line is, it doesnt matter how much the gun cost if you dont knock em down it dont matter what kind of gun you shot, a dead duck doesnt know the diff....... lol

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
I don't really feel that I am pumping when I'm shooting at stuff, adrenaline and the motion just kinda take over, something happens and when the barrel clears the next set of eyes, one more little splash occurs. I run out of shells at the same time as the guys in the blind that have an auto, you tell me.

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
Go to a sporting clay shoot and bring your pump you will learn what i'm talking bout!! I seen it many of times when shooting quick true flights a pump just gets in the way!! As for as putting ducks in the freezer apparantly you dont kill to many cause i have to give most mine away cause their is no room im my freezer!! Second you want me to bring you hunting what the problem you cant get on them your self!! Now when it come to shooting i'm not that good but i'm way better than you!!!

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
All hail the great DeltaDuckMasturbator, everything of his is better. Never shot an auto at ducks, so I can't compare. I just know that the pump action is not a big factor to me, when the gun recoils, the pump handle is already on it's way, and ready to shoot again before I am. Sure I'd love a 1000 dollar auto, but I have a GTR to pay for!

x2....Ihave a Benelli pump which i love and have passed down to my oldest and recently bought a Vinci(my first auto)which i will hand down to my youngest and really dont find it to be that big of a difference...they all kill ducks!

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
forgot who i was dealin with for a min.,the dickmastur.has all the best shit, uses it better than everyboby else, and knows best.a guy who gives all his ducks away but aint takin a poor sumbich from down da bayou to his spot.surely,no one can fork with the deltadickmaster. tell me you knowitall mofo, whats the best way to cook dem sportin clays? if shootin off at the mouth counts as practice, you must shoot as good as you say! and also,i think id rather look stupid in a blind, where im about by my self, than on the inet with an audience.your reputation follows you too, because i dont know many people on here but every one ive talked to seemd to think the same about you. (laughing AT you!)

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
bought an 870 for $150 in a pawn shop some years ago....puts squirrels, deer, ducks, and even the occasional stray dog down like any other....easy to take apart and put back together, got no complaints.

 Re: ATTENTION ALL DUCK HUNTERS!
DMD and BreamBusta, not too long ago I was just like you two thinking it doesn't make a difference cause its pumped by the time the recoil is over so no foul. I was wrong. It may be chambered for the next shot but its not going to be locked on like the newer autos. I started shooting an Extrema w/kickoff second split last season and its a smooth with negligent amount of recoil. Target acquisition on follow up shots are way quicker than my 870. If there was a 12g youth model small enough I am willing to bet an 8 yr old could limit out without hurting. It's that soft shooting.

Have friends that have both, shot each one and personal preference for me was the Vinci. Just felt more comfortable. Next year i will put it n the cabinet for my youngest, maybe then the SBE.
