Post Decided to be "pro active"
I dont make new years resolutions, but the other day, on the way home from dads funeral, I stopped by the store to get gas, and bought a 12 pak. The "democrat" behind the counter just stuck her hand out for my credit card without ever telling me how much I owed. On top of it, at this particular store, they had a big hand written sign by the register saying "We'll be happy to help you when you are not on your phone"

Maybe it was the stress, lack of sleep or something else, but Im tired of these nickels BSing behind the counter acting like IM an inconvenience to them and not even telling me how much my beer is!!!

So how/what did you decide to do, to be "pro-active"?

It's not really their fault. They're so used to sticking their hand out and the government filling it, no questions asked, that they just sort of forget where they are.

Ok, one last time.

The title to this thread was "I decided to be Pro-active". This is a definitive statement that implied you took an action.

WHAT THE HELL did you do?

Sorry to hear of your father's passing.

Yea, you see the same attitude at the fast food drive thrus. You barely get one word out and they ask you "will that complete your order?"

I would like to tell them that the franchise owner would most likely like to place to make money and it you could give me a few more seconds to order more food, that could happen. I know it must be a shitty job, put you know what, that's the job you chose, now do it.

When we went to Tennessee, I couldn't believe how great the drive thru folks were there. Totally opposite from here.

Tony..we had a Wendy's in town that was nickelrific. They were the flat worst in the business. I had a buddy that could talk and just stop making noise and then pick back up. I know that's a terrible description...but it sounded like the mic was broken on the drive through. He would do it to mess with them. We'd all be in tears by the time we drove up.

"Can I take you order?"

"Yes I'd like a num... ..ree with a large ..et co.. and no ..tard but extra ..ions. Also a small ..li and a num.. ..ven meal ..ue sized with a Sprite."

"I cain't heerd ju. Kin yous repeat dat?
