Caddo Lake - A little low
Some of y'all may remember a cut through the lilypads that was just north of Johnson's Ranch and ran right in front of Shady Glade marina outside the no wake zone. It was easy to use that cut then, but I used it the other day and I was throwing a 50/50 mixture of mud and water going through there.
I probably could've stopped and got going again without much problem, but I had my father-in-law with me (who isn't much of a outdoorsman to begin with) and I was with another boat with just an outboard, so I knew if I got stuck it could possibly take a while to get out. Anyways, I kept her wide open all the way through there headed towards Johnson's and made it no problem. The rear end lifted up for sure and we were gliding across there. My FIL turned around and looked at me like "WTF are we doing?" It was awesome.
Anyways, if any of y'all get out to Caddo in the near future, just be aware that it is a good bit lower than it was when the run was.

Take a look in the ride plans forum to the one labeled Caddo go down to the pic of the guy standing in front of his boat; which is me. I was stuck right beside that run last weekend, it was bad sh!t.
