Very slow in north east Texas. 2 of us killed 7 teal and 2 woodies. Not many birds in the air at all. |

I got it welded up around 10:30 and took it back out and it held up fine. I couldnt be happier with my boat though it's a freaking tank. The motor pushes it at around 23 mph with two light heavy weights and a full hunting load in deep water. Shallow water I'm to busy holding on to tell. I'm looking forward to getting the long shaft put on though. I cant stop in the mud or i'm stuck with the way it is now.... and I cant use my reverse. 22" transom 16" shaft...

We put the shot on ...... Shovlers, WoodDucks, GadWalls, BluewingTeal, Mallard, CanvasBack, RedHead, Widgen, and even shot at a Coot ....... all these Byrds gots ate Saturday afternoon with 2 gallons of fried CatFish and Tators ....... We also had WAY too much Beers and Fun ..... I absolutey still Love Openin' Week-End !!!!!  Thay still ain't very many DuckByrds in the East-Texas area ..... but thay is a heck of lots of people and a good time to be had !!!!! |
