But Sando is right. It will be hard for the GOP to do anything without them controlling both the house and senate. So in another 2 years when voting comes up again if they haven't been able to do anything, it will all be blamed on them.

The Dems will rise again....economy will perk up, houses will be bought and sold at fair prices, new cars will be on the road again...life will be nice again for those for whom the Republicans punished the previous 8 years..the middle class, which is where most of us fit in, including me. Can't we all just agree that Pres. GW was not the brightest bulb in the white house. We can all have our disagreements regarding policies and issues, but this in one thing we all can agree to, mais non? We can all agree, too, that Pres Obama is one of the smartest presidents we have ever had, though you may disagree with his policies, mais non? My sister in law just ran for the Georgia Senate as a Republican and lost. My wife is a Republican, but more middle of the road Republican. We all agreel agree, however, that GW was inept and that Obama is very intelligence and his diplomatic demeanor is stellar.

I am a firm believer that the economy will rise and fall to it's own devices, it's an enormous monster with many factors and fluctuations, and they have nothing to do with any of the retards in Washington, GW. and Obama included. Bill Clinton is praised as great because the building and housing industries flourished while he was in office. They did not flourish, they inflated, it looked good for awhile until everybody had to pay up for all their indebted fun. He had nothing to do with it, as with the rest of the White House lawn shitkickers.



Take this as example - did your last economic stimulus check of 600 bucks really make any difference in your life? Nope, but that was influenced by the gubmint.

Example 2 - Ford plant closed here a few years ago, people lost their houses and our local economy suffered. The culprit was Ford, seeking cheaper labor elswhere because they themselves had inflated their own plant to the point where thousands of people were making 80k a year for doing absolutely nothing. This had nothing to do with the government, nationwide scenarios like this build up to create the economy's ups and downs.
