When I get off work I usually just leave it at that. But today I was really impressed with a floor that I just finished and decided to snap some pictures of it. Only thing on this floor is a chocolate dye. No clear coats or shiny coatings, just polished concrete and color. Kinda looks like granite. |

Real nice looking floor. Good job. My last house had floors in it like that and my ole lady loved them. |

It's pretty and all but, why smooth out a surface that you are walking on? I've noticed alot of the big box stores doing this and all I can think of is a lawsuit. Smooth concrete and moisture don't mix. I've almost slipped in a local Lowes a couple of times because of this. I don't think it's a good idea to polish conrete floors. But for concrete counter tops like I have, which almost looks just like the 2nd pic, it's nice. And a bit cheaper than granite. Owen do you do conrete counter tops also? |

The house I bought had them already installed. Although it was a new-build. When I question the cabinet guy about the kitchen cabinets and countertops, he said that it was a $10k setup. I'm guessing $3k-4k. That included a 4"x3/4" backsplash to match. I do have about 25' of counter space. But that shit is thick. 2" to be exact and made with 10k psi mix. Almost the exact color as the floor pics above. If you'd like I can get you a better price. My neighbors was done by the same guy, but that setup has a more gray/charcoal look to it. |
