i meant if your putting a short transom motor on a tall transom boat or vice versa. |

the GTR is a 16" Transom, and the GD im putting it on is a 18" transom. |

i know a guy with a similar situation like you and this is what ive learned. the shaft will be at a different angle coming down into the water not allowing it to reach and run on the surface even with it trimmed up like it would with a properly matched motor to transom height. it will almost create like a cavitation which is not what you want |
