Has anybody made one and have it certified? I want to make one with two tanks and a chlorination chamber for my buddies houseboat, but we are not sure if that would be legit. We do not plan on getting shore power so DHH will not have to inspect it and doubt anyone else ever will, but we are trying to make it legal without throwing out 1000 bones if we don't have to. Thanks in advance. |

Here is what everyone here is putting on houseboats that are already built. This is even on the houseboat that the owner here just built, but he put 2 on it. Remember this is just for black water / waste. Grey water can still be dumped overboard. Or if you rather, have a holding tank also for grey water that will empty once to a certain level. I think this systme is about $1500. http://www.aheadtank.com/camp-unit-sewage-system.html |
