 The new village idiot! On the gdsd its a long way to the grab bar. i'm 5'7" and out reached to hold on to this thing.
So my brain got thinking That stupid seat mount on the floatation box ain't doin nothin. I got a piece of 3/4 pipe and reduced it to a 1/2 shoved it in there pulled on it, then jerked on it. seemed strong. I used it for 2 weeks. drives much more comfy!
So, sunday At the dock there's about 4 boats there. I push off winds blowing hard and I'm drifting. Turn hard left and goose it a little to keep from running into any body. this bar snaps, I land on the float box on my back and throttle wide open. So snday afternoon I knocked the poly grommet out ran A 1" bar put a flange on the floor bolted it down. If it comes out this time its Its goin to take the float box and floor pan.
I should pry just extend my throttle handle.

Re: The new village idiot! Ya ever thought of the obvious? I just bent my handle back to where it's in a comfortable spot. It's also now more aerodynamic & I gained like .000376890 mph.
