Post aluminum flooring??
I am looking to put some alum tread plate in the floor of my jon boat. Is 3/16" thick enough with 11" on center ribs to keep the metal from bowing without a foam piece underneath? I can get a sheet 4'x16' x 3/16" sheered to my needs for 400 bucks.

Thanks
Randy

You will need to wait for Crews to return from his Honeymoon to get the correct answer.

Willett I sure do. Right now my net boat has 3/8 marine plywood but soon to have the 3/16 tread plate. I spoke to my buddy about this project and he said 'oh yeah I got access to a 8' shear and a large sheet bender. Now thats what I'm talking about. Joel I'm needing some beef under this body.
Thanks for the replys.
Randy

That's a little overkill Randy,
I'd go with 1/8 5052. 3003 will flex to much.
