Fellas my girlfriend wants to buy me a good duck call for Christmas. What I'm looking for is a high quality, affordable, single reed, and acrylic call that can do it all from open water to close in work. If there even is such a thing. lol I know how to run a single reed fluently so an easy to "run" call isn't really an issue. I've ran several different "high dollar" calls over the years from RNT to Echos to Dixieland, with the Dixieland Original acrylic being my favorite but it's just a little too loud for close in work alot of the time. I know everyone has an opinion and I'm not trying to start a pizzing match I just want honest straight forward answers.

There is a moderator on here by the name of "Mudslinger".....makes the best dam call there is! Name of the company is "killer kalz". Send him a private message or visit the mmt store! They hand make each call and will engrave anything you want into it!

We had one made for my Pop's b-day. Kinda explained his calling abilities to Jay and he built a call that he thought would work best for him. Had Happy b-day engraved in it and everything. Very nice call, works well for my dad, and the engraving made it all the more special.
