would like to build my own rig
me and one of my buddies is thinking about building a rig to just go on the rides. im not the type to sit back and watch, i wanna get out there and play too but at the same time i dont wanna tear up my hunting boat that i just bought. would like to get some tips or maybe even a little help from some guys that have done this. definetly not trying to get into any kind of production whatsoever. found a few places to get the material so that shouldnt be a problem. i have a little experience welding and my friend is a welder by trade so i think we can handle that as well.
wanna stick with the round chine because of the way it handles but not sure on whats the best way to go about getting em round. someone told me once u get the runners welded in to use some ratchet straps or a come along to pull up the sides and weld the braces in.
prolly gonna be after season before we get started but i would like to get some tips and pointers from yall. maybe a few pictures for some reference or if there is some must do's that a first timer should know about. so if you have any tips fire away. thanks
