 towing bought a 2011 jeep wrangler rubicon 4 door .its says it can tow up to 3500lbs.i wonder if it would tow a 1750 gator trax with a mudmotor and gear.or i'm i asking for trouble.sucks because i forgot to take my rig for a spin with it before i bought it.hope i didn't make a huge mistake.does anybody have one of these jeeps and tows their boat with no problems,please let me know,thanks again mike

It frightens me sometimes the questions that come up here. We get in boats with loaded guns with these people?

Re: towing I have seen a Jeep launch a 24' twin engine Robalo which isn't THE problem... I had the pleasure of being there when they came back in  let's just say a Chevy was needed to strap off to the Jeep in order to get the boat out of the water.

Re: towing Should not be a problem, I use to tow a 1744 hd 200 mile round trips in a 2001 jeep with 35" tires, just couldn't pull in 5th gear but it did fine in 4th.
