Hey guys trying to decide which phone to get on my upgrade next month. The Iphone or the Droid X for verizon. Any opinions?

Only way I would consider an iphone is if it where an iphone 5 from Verizon. I would not want the 4 it has lots of problems. The 5 is not expected to have the bugs the 4 had.

i just got the droid x about a month ago and i reallly like it, only thing is its pretty big. never had an iphone.

I personally prefer the Droid OS over every other. I would wait for wimax Droids. Should only be a month or two.

4G LTE version released in Japan can do 330 Mbps. That's not a typo. Estimate for Verizon phones right now are 5-15 Mbps (which is very fast). It will stream HD video and video chat at the same time. Which is faster than all home DSL connections and a lot of cable ones.

The name of Verizons 4G technology is LTE it is technically different from Wimax. Sprints 4G is actually Wimax. ATT will eventually be LTE.

No matter what anyone tells you, battery life is an issue with all of these phones, including iphone being one of the worst.

yep battery life is very short, if you dont have an app killer it will run it down very fast

The cool thing about an open Kernel like the Droid, unlike the premadonna company that has to put an "I" in front of everyone of its products (Standing for I am better than you). You can buy a battery of what ever size you want or install any size memory card you want in it.

32G iphone $500
32G mini SD card $60

ive heard about bugs with the iphone 4 but that was when they first came out...ive had mine for probably 6 months and never had a single problem

go with the iphone 4 i had not had a problem with it at all. I have the otterbox case for it and that is a wise investment. Protects the phone very well.

Droid X is a badass piece of machinery. I like that its big, I'm a big guy. :)
